Finch Warden Study


Can you image what this intersection will look like 25 years from now?  We all know change is coming and it is important to plan for that change.   In September, 2008, a working group of residents from wards 39 & 40 (north and south of Finch) began meeting on this issue with the support of city planning staff and independent consultants.

I supported the Ward 40 residents by providing them with planning advice from Professor David Amborski of
Ryerson University , who had his students research the potential for future development, and from Lorne Ross, the former Chief Planner for the City of Scarborough .  The working group’s final report was presented at a community meeting on October 6th , 2009 .  To read the report, please check the web site:
